Delivering on-time as planned is very important to me. So during our project phase, please plan to respond to our emails within 24 hours or faster so we can complete tasks and launch on time!

 

Domain & Hosting: Package pricing doesn't include your investment for Squarespace hosting (runs between $8 - $26/month) or domain purchase (runs around $15-20/yr or get it free in your first year when you purchase an annual hosting plan on Squarespace). Consider your business goals, especially, whether or not you want to sell products or want unlimited pages, when picking your plan.

What is the design process like?

Step 1

We start off the process with you filling out this brief inquiry form and sharing with me all about your project. We jump on a call for you to clarify any questions and for me to understand we are on the same page. We also talk about dates and timeline. Then, I send you a detail via email so you can book your spot. You will have 24 hrs to make your purchase in order to reserve time on my schedule. After you do that, you will get "homework" to complete and submit to me before the first date of the project.


Step 2

In step 2, you will pull together all your notes and inspiration for your new website. I will send you questions to guide this process where you send me your favorite links, the main function of your site, features you want in your site and why, and what is your dream list for your site which is not necessary but would be a big bonus. You will submit the final copy for each of the pages and a folder of copyright-free or licensed images for your site. You will submit all of these in a shared Google Drive Folder or type it up in a document and have it in my inbox three days before the start date. Any delays in submitting this content will result in a daily delay fee of $500. Don't worry, we will schedule our project so that you have at least 2 full weeks for you to start the prep. You will have detailed guidelines so all of this is manageable and I will answer any questions along the way. You will also purchase the domain and site hosting (I will provide you video instructions on how to do this - it's easy).


Step 3

By sending me all the content three days before our start dates, I will have a few days to review everything and send you back instructions or clarifications. Then our project begins on the start date with your final payment and a video call where we review our project goals and design direction. You will have a chance to ask questions and clarify my questions. This stage is not for adding new ideas, but refining and clarifying the implementation. 
Half way through our timeline, I create a live interactive mockup of the design and functionality of your site. You will see the color scheme, content layout as well as site structure. You send me back your review and any tweaks. Then, I go ahead and make the tweaks and implement the final version. We then meet at our scheduled video call for a pre-launch website training so you can make updates and start using your site. We will also set your website LIVE during our video call. 

 
 

After Step 3, the next thing to do is to gather around your team and your friends and celebrate!
